Level 7 Diploma in Digital Media
To be a professional animator means knowing the fine art of telling a compelling story through the movements of a character. At Freelance students not only learn how to animate but to direct the whole filming process from script, storyboard, framing, camera movements, acting, sound effects and recording. In the Diploma of Digital Media, students work to see their ideas and characters come to life in a group project that is entirely their own. This individual project is 2 minutes in duration and produced to broadcast quality.
Students combine their skills and work together as a team to simulate industry standards and work flow. Students are responsible for managing their time according to their production schedule, they also take part in special lessons and workshops from expert lecturers to learn how to interpret and develop their storyline to enhance their character’s performance.
