ZOO VISIT FOR FIRST YEAR FREELANCE STUDENTS

Posted by Hannah / February 17, 2012

The second week of term has been a busy one for Freelance students. At the start of the week the first year students went on their annual visit to the zoo to sketch animals from life. Their first big assignment for the year involves them studying animals and choosing one to develop into a character. But first off they have to do a number of sketches of different types of animals. The first year students get a year pass to the zoo, so they can go and visit and practice drawing as much as they would like!

There are also some great new enclosures that have been upgraded and additions made, especially to the new Kiwi house and the bird enclosure has been reopened – it’s worth a visit!
